On May 6th, the Crew at ARCHIES had a bigger day planned for their “boss”. The pirate clad A-Team, with swords raised dubbed Miss Patty “CAPTAIN MCGEE”. The captain was presented with a signed pledge of allegiance from her staff, a scroll, and a treasure chest with a special gift. “May the wind continue to blow the sails and the sun always shine upon the decks of your ship, ARCHIES Captain.” God’s Speed….

May 5th, ARCHIES had it’s 60th anniversary. It was also Derby day, which made this a special day for Miss Patty. Not only did she receive an award from Southern Eagle for the 10th year of top beer sales in the surrounding counties, she sported a Derby bonnet that put the Queen’s hat to shame. Patty was born and raised in Kentucky and made a gumbo that sold out in no time.
